OverviewWe are an advocate of profitability and sustainability. Breeding decisions made today will not be realised for another 10 years. Today, that means using the available XXXX to increase productivity. Paringa has advocated planned cross breeding with our Charolais. Now we have the chance to take it a step further with our Stabilizer program. The Stabilizer program is based around commercialisation of PROVEN science that maternal crossbred cow herds combined with terminal sires is THE most profitable livestock production system (20% MORE KG/HA). Our Stabilizer program is not breed specific in that we are not locked into specific breeds, but it is about using the right kind of genetics that are right for the times. This year's line up is Gelbvieh influenced from some of GAR Lawson donors mated with Judd Ranch Black Gelbviehs. These bulls will blow you away. Most are double black, polled and stacked full of vigour. They look like Angus with more muscle while their daughters will live longer and have more calves than straight bred cows (more kd weaned per cow exposed).
